Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

It is holiday season again.  After 2 years of slowing down, life had been a routine without any excitement. Therefore, we decided to start doing things we like such as visiting family/friends, traveling and exercising again.  The results were fantastic.  Hope you all are well and start to get back to do things you enjoy again!

Family Time

Jeff's kids (Benjy and Lucy) came to Houston in July for 3 weeks during their summer break. They had tennis camp in Chancellor Tennis Club for a week and another summer camp for the 2nd & 3rd week. Along with Jason's kids (Talia and Maisie), we spent quality time together. It was nice to have our 4 grandkids together.

In August, we had a chance to visit Jeff’s family and checked out their remodeling work on their new house.  Then we visited them again in October for a week. In addition to working, Jeff and Jennifer also spent time with their new addition - Winnie (a Miniature Schnauzer).

In Houston, we spent time with Jason’s family frequently, and we also had the greatest time of watching Maisie every other Wednesday. Jason and Theresa along with their kids made an UK trip in the summer. Time certainly goes by fast when you are enjoying it. This month, Maisie celebrated her 2nd birthday.

Made Some Trips

Fei had her "girls only trip" to Palm Springs in April for a lot of shopping and dinning.

We went to Austin for a day trip to hike the River Place Nature Trail in June.

In August, we finally made the long-awaited Norway cruise along the coastline all the way to Honningsvåg (the northernmost city in mainland Norway).  We had planned this cruise in 2020 but had to cancel it, and finally made the trip 2 years later.  We had a lot of fun and saw many nice sceneries.

In late September, Fei and I went to Rocky Mountain National Park for a week.  We did a lot of hiking and witnessed the beauty of Rock Mountains.
